Eugenia Roussou

Bio

I am a Greek (born and raised) anthropologist, having, however, lived almost half of my life abroad (in London, UK, and in Lisbon, Portugal).

I currently work as a senior researcher at the Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia (CRIA), ISCTE-IUL, Lisbon, Portugal. My research focuses on the social scientific - and anthropological, more specifically - study of religion and spirituality, vernacular religion, New Age and/or alternative spirituality, religious pluralism, ritual healing practices, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), religious materiality and transnational religiosity, with particular comparative geographical reference to Portugal and Greece.

I am more than happy to hear from anyone who shares similar interests to discuss about potential research and writing collaborations. Please check the Contact section for more details.
